Retriever Sport Bowfishing Reel

Zero Drag: The line is stacked in a bottle rather than wound on a drum or spool so there is no drag on the line when it’s shot. The line freely spools out of the bottle on the shot and on the retrieve just stacks right back in. Just pull a lever with the index finger of your bow hand to retrieve
Heavy-duty Construction: Machined brass gears, stainless steel hardware and corrosion resistant housing ensure long life in fresh or saltwater. Retriever reels are built to take the abuse of bowfishing and will stand the test of time
Fast Retrieve: The Retriever Sport has a gear ratio of 3:1 which allows 17″ of line to be retrieved per crank. 25 yd of 200# test braided Dacron line is installed
Everglide Safety Slide: Because safety is paramount, every Retriever includes an AMS EverGlide Safety Slide tied to the end of the line. Never tie your line to the tail of an arrow (regardless of reel used)! Use the AMS EverGlide Safety Slide on every arrow, every time
4 Way Adjustment Spacer: Mounts your reel directly to the sight holes on your bow and allows you to mount in 4 different locations depending on personal preference. Milled out slots on the mount plate also allow slight up and down adjustment
Trigger Guard: This rubber sleeve adds comfort to the trigger. But, more importantly, it’s a safety device to lengthen the trigger to prevent line from entangling with it

Mounting is easy and very adjustable. Mount the side arm to your bow riser with the included screw and washer. The clamp in the side arm allows the arrow rest to be moved in and out for perfect center shot adjustment as well as tilted to the preferred angle to allow for optimal arrow clearance
The Zip Rest can be used by right- or left-hand shooters

Arrow Component Details
Arrow Shaft
Each and every AMS branded arrow is inspected for straightness. The shafts are glossy smooth, extremely straight and ultra-durable. Points are pinned to the shaft for more security. Each arrow shaft is 5/16″ diameter and 32″ in length. An EverGlide Safety Slide is installed on every arrow.
MudCat Economy Series Fish Buster Point
The Fish Buster point is great for all shooters, including those that shoot at a lower draw weight. They have a super short body and two heavy-duty, rounded wire barbs that make a small entry hole and engage with minimal penetration. Barbs pivot to the side to hold the fish with a .93″ x .875″ holding area.

AMS Everglide Safety Slide for 5/16″ Arrows
AMS believes safety is paramount. That’s why focus on safety in every product manufacture. And why will never sell an arrow without an EverGlide Safety Slide, a device invented, that changed the industry. This system has proven it’s ease and durability on millions of fish! If used properly, it ensures that your line will remain out in front of the arrow rest and away from the bowstring on the shot. Just tie your line to the slide. Nock the arrow with the shock pad facing up while keeping the slide in front of your arrow rest. When the shot is taken, the arrow moves through the slide to the shock pad, taking the line with it. The line stays in front of the arrow rest at all times. This ensures that your line cannot come in contact or tangle with the bowstring, which can be the cause of arrow snapback.
