The new Kage LT reel is exclusive to independent Daiwa dealers which embraces the LT Concept or Light/Tough Concept. The Kage LT is lighter by weight yet strong and rigid. The body is constructed from Zaion, a “high density” carbon strain material that is 20% stronger and 50% lighter than traditional nylon and aluminum. The true carbon body is reduced in size and weight, yet provides a rigid framework for the powerful gearing. The design incorporates the Air Bail and Air Rotor systems that reduce the weight by 15% yet provide strength and rigidity.The Aluminum Digigears are precision cut for a smooth, powerful performance with less weight. A unique premium cork handle knob looks smart yet provides a solid grip. A smooth and powerful ATD drag system will stop the largest gamefish. The advanced spinning reel can be utilized for a variety of fresh water and light salt water applications.
Air Bail
Daiwa’s innovative bail design features a hollow tubular stainless steel bail that delivers maximum rigidity and strength with minimum weight. Featuring a smooth protrusion-free design and construction line easily slides unencumbered along the Air Bail towards the line roller for trouble free line control.
Air Rotor
Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that’s come before, Air Rotor’ delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate reel sensitivity and rotational balance.
ATD-Drag
Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
Machine Cut Handle
The new handle design is slimmer, more compact and 50% lighter.
Zaion
