While we have to make sure the original Raghead crab is accredited to Jan Isley we also want to recognize Dane Emerson who further developed the crab pattern in the Yucatan. This has become a staple in the Yucatan and for the permit in Espiritu Santo Bay. Dane Emerson and the crew as ESB Lodge discovered that the yellow eyes drastically increases the flies effectiveness.
