Description
Plenty of Machine for Anyone:
PRO 26, equipped with a 10.5 HP Briggs and Stratton OHV engine, is a full-featured Field and Brush Mower that accepts all optional attachments. But it’s first and foremost, a terrific mower that will make short work of thick field grass and woody materials up to two inches in diameter. This machine has the exact same frame, wheels, drive train, clutch, handlebars, controls, and spindle as larger walk-behinds. Just like the others, it accepts optional attachments and has a pivoting mower deckone of DR® “secrets” to great maneuverability and traction. This model’s only concession to convenience is its pull-start (vs. electric-start engine). Other than that, it will do the job, and do it wellat a great price.

|---|---|
| 10.5 HP Briggs & Stratton E Series Engine | The legendary power, performance, and durability of Briggs & Stratton® engines make it a great choice for a Field and Brush Mower. The PRO 26 10.5 HP model uses a durable 344 cc Overhead Valve E Series manual-starting Briggs engine with a cast-iron cylinder sleeve. |
| 26″ Pivoting Deck | The 26″ deck is wide enough for effective clearing but still very maneuverable. Unlike rigid, fixed decks found on some mowers, the DR deck pivots from side to side, allowing it to follow the contours of rough terrain. This feature minimizes scalping and improves traction. |
| Superior Mulching | DR decks are enclosed on 3 sides, so that cut material is chopped and re-chopped, reducing grass and brush to a fine mulch. This means less material is left behind in your field and none of the windrows you get with side-discharging mowers. |
| Gear-Driven Transmission | Unlike hydrostatic drives, the DR’s geared transmission lets you lock in your ground speed, leaving your hands free to steer the machine across uneven terrain. With 3 forward gears, you can choose a fixed pace that’s right for you. |
| Big, Lugged Tires for Sure Traction | No other brush mower has tires like this. They’re the biggest (18″ x 6.5″ x 8″), have superior lugged treads that pull the mower through or over just about anything, and they are sealant filled, making them highly resistant to puncture. |
| Custom-Made Blade Spindle | Made of 1.375″ thick cast iron with oversized double-sealed bearings, the blade spindle is integrated into the deck housing and reinforced for vibration-free performance. Designed to provide years of maintenance-free use. |
| Commercial Grade Electric Clutch | DR’s industry-leading, self-adjusting clutch is designed for easy access and quick swapping out of optional attachments. After 245 hours of testing, only 10% of the clutch’s life was used. |
| Attachments Add 4-Season Versatility | Thanks to DR’s quick-change coupling system, the DR’s brush mowing deck can be swapped in just minutes with one of the optional PTO attachments like a finish mower, snow thrower, wood chipper, or grader blade. |
| Built to Take a Beating | Field and brush mowing is tough work, and underbuilt mowers don’t last. DR machines are framed with heavy-duty, laser-cut steel, reinforced at key stress points to withstand years of use and abuse. |
| Adjustable Handlebars | A comfortable working height is important, especially when traversing rough terrain. The adjustable handlebars help ensure operator comfort. |
| Ergonomic Controls | Both on the control panel and grips, all DR Field and Brush Mower controls are designed to optimize operator comfort and minimize hand fatigue, keeping everything you need at your fingertips. |
| Heavy-Duty Powder Coating | DR frames and decks are finished with a tough, durable powder coating that resists scratching and promotes long life. |
