Trout and smallmouth LOVE crayfish, and on some watersheds, the mini-lobster is their main food source. A good crayfish pattern needs to get down, hop and scamper up and around the rocks, and be able to jet backwards, with the claws swept forward like the naturals do when fleeing a predator.
