Description
Egans Frenchie Jig Tungsten Bead is a nymph pattern spawning off the classic pheasant tail. This pattern may seem too simple and under dressed to work, but trout will disagree. This pattern has proven itself on both tailwater and free stone fisheries with a variety of mayfly species. On the Missouri River, this pattern is best fished during PMD hatches due to its light shrimp pink ice dubbed thorax. Aside from the PMD hatch, this fly can perform in all months of peak season when mayflies are abundant.
