When the outer tube is inserted over the inner tube, a copper spring and neoprene seal create a vacuum to maintain a constant water level in the drinking pan. Can be used with a heater base as well, a must have for our Northwest winters.
This heavy-duty, standalone waterer for chickens, turkeys and other poultry is made of galvanized steel and features double-walled construction with an inner tube. The inner tube has its own handle for your convenience and an outer handle for carrying the filled fount.
