Description
A great pattern during a mayfly spinner fall when trout are picky, Rene Harrop developed the CDC Biot Spinner to mimic a spent-wing mayfly. To mimic the flat spinner wing of falling mayflies, Harrop trims a “V” in the forward fibers of the grizzly hackle. This fly design allows for a flat profile and the biot body sells the segmentation of the natural mayfly.
