Sierra MatchKing 7mm Hollow Point Boat Tail-Closed Nose Bullets

The 7mm 180GR HPBT MatchKing was created in response to requests from top-level F-Class shooters. Sierra has designed these MatchKing bullets to provide a higher Bullet Weight/higher B.C. alternative in the 7mm line. This bullet’s 12 cal secant ogive and lengthened boat tail make it the perfect choice for the discerning 7mm long range shooter. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×8″ or faster.
