Description
George has a big reputation among NW steelheaders, and if you’ve ever watched his videos or been in his presence he has the same bravado in real life. He has been fishing the NW salmon and steelhead scene longer than many have been alive and this is a go to pattern for winter steelhead and even Chinook/King salmon. This fly imitates a shrimp or prawn but in reality no one really knows why coastal fish bite flies like this. The grizzley hackle along the sides give this fly a great look in the water.
