1″ for post, pipe, rod or stake up to – 1″ diameter

2″ for post, pipe, rod or stake between 1″ – 2″ diameter

3 for post, pipe, rod or stake between 2″ – 3″ diameter

4″ for post, pipe, rod or stake between 3″ – 4″ diameter

Recommend you always have an Adapter Collar on barrel when driving to protect barrel end and threads.
