Description
Tom Larimer started his guiding career in Wisconsin in his 20’s and then went on to guide in Alaska, Washington, Michigan, and Oregon. He has had a diverse career in fly fishing and ran an outfitting business on the lower Deschutes river for 18 years where he learned all about stoneflies. This pattern is a less known pattern that is extremely effective and designed by one of the most knowledgeable anglers in our industry. The pattern uses a lot of brass on the body to help it sink. This is a great spring-summer stonefly pattern to represent the larger stonefly hatches, especially the golden stone.
