Description
The Micro Beeley was designed by Craig Mathews as a softhackle version of a caddis fly. This fly was largely developed forfishing on the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park. Mathews saysthe fly works really well on the swing or under a large dry fly especially whenit seems that a full size streamer is too big and the fish arent willing tochase a baitfish or a sculpin. We think this would be a great patternswung very slowly during a caddis hatch or used as a comeback fly when fishingtrout spey.
