Description
Victory Welding Alloys 4043 is a general-purpose aluminum welding wire commonly referred to as AlSi5. It is one of the oldest and most widely used aluminum filler metals, valued for its excellent weldability, smooth puddle control, and resistance to weld cracking.
With approximately 5% silicon content, 4043 offers a lower melting point and improved fluidity compared to many other aluminum alloys. This results in easy arc starts, smooth bead appearance, and a bright, shiny weld deposit. It is less sensitive to hot cracking, making it a dependable choice for a wide range of aluminum fabrication and repair applications.
