The Standard 800/1000 Grit Diamond Stones are an excellent all-around finishing stone. They maintain the micro-serrations needed for a working edge but leave a refined enough finish to cleanly slice through delicate materials. These are a necessary step for a polished finish. These Diamond Stones have a break-in period of about 10 sharpening sessions and an average lifespan of 350 sharpening’s.
